Chef Natalie

Natalie got this super cute chef set from her Aunt Caba for Valentine's day. She was wearing it about the house today and we were lucky enough to catch a cheesy smile. She makes a point to put on the oven mitt to get things out of her play oven, but only covers one hand! Ouch! Needless to say, Mom is proud of her little chef.

Ian's Valentine Party

My Ian has always been a huge fan of Valentine's Day...he is enthusiastic about this minor holiday and its sweet. Natalie and I attended his school party this morning. They decorated cookies, made fruit loop necklaces and cards, then wrapped up with a valentine themed bingo game. Before leaving Natalie blended in with the big kids, sitting next to Ian for a little story time. You'll notice all the kids looking down and/or gnawing on something - fruit loop necklaces.

Snow Again

We got about 6 inches of snow and two days off from school this week. Ian and Natalie really enjoyed hanging out with our neighbors Pablo and Eric. The snow was better for building our snowman than it was for sledding. You'll notice Natalie gave up on the sled and started to scoot her way down the hill....it was not fast but she giggled the whole time.

Day at the Circus

For those of you that are skittish about clowns...not the blog entry for you! ha ha. Ian and Natalie went to their first circus today with their very special Aunt Caba. They had a great time and stayed entertained for well over two hours, which was a shock to hear about. Face painting, elephant rides, slushies and all kinds of animals. Natalie wasn't cooperating for the pictures but Ian was eager to show off his new look for the camera. The best part was I (Mom/Becky) got to have some rare free time for some shopping and lunching without the kiddos. Anybody want to take them again next weekend???
