Where did you come from?

Natalie seemed to realize the little friends hanging above her in the swing for the first time. She smiled at them and made some noises, even stuck out her tongue at them! ha!

Family & Friends

Ian, Natalie and Mom braved a road trip without Dad to Madisonville. We saw some family and friends that live far away and happened to both be visiting the same week. Here Ian and Kole were about to make a splash at the Johnson's pool. So fun!

Declan and his Mom Jill also came to swim with us. Here the guys are taking a lunch break.

Natalie and new cousin Mallory Kate are having some blanket time. They are 19 days apart, both kicking around and starting to share their beautiful smiles. Aunt Caba bought them special matching dresses for a family party!

Sweet Smiles

I have been hovering over Natalie with a camera just hoping to get a smile picture. Here, she is hanging out in her swing during lunch and was feeling happy. Yeah! We had to share our first smiley picture with everyone!

Nap With Natalie

Natalie and I just read Ian a couple of books before his naptime and it wiped her out. Before we left Ian he asked to hug 'baby sister'. Here you see she was perfectly happy snuggled up to big brother. He said he had an extra pillow and it was ok with him if she stayed! (Don't worry guys - she didn't!)

Father's Day

We all went out to lunch at one of Dad's favorite spots - Penn Station. Here Ian and his Dad are flashing some smiles - aren't they handsome?!

Check Her Out!

Natalie was just sitting up and bright eyed here. She is starting to make some expressive sounds and flash more grins. Its so cool and we can't get enough!

Big Foot vs Ian

Ian and his Dad went to this 'Monster Machines' show hosted by the St Louis Science Center. It was full of big vehicles like this monster truck, but also giant bulldozers, a fire truck etc. Huge Fun!

Wet n' Wild

Ian is playing on his new slip n slide with his cousins (Cohen, Rachel, and Ben - lft to rt). It was the perfect outdoor fun on a hot day. They all came away with some red spots on the chest/belly but it didn't phase them - no pain no gain right?

The older cousins (George and Quen) opted out of the slip n slide but couldn't avoid Aunt Becky's camera.

Natalie is hanging out with her great grandmother, Momma Sue, during her first trip to Madisonville.

Ian and the Girls

Ian is playing here at his preschool picnic with two classmates - Mira (right) and Meagan (left). We found rocks in his shoes for a whole week after - ha! We all had a great time and hope to see some friends again over the summer.

Mother's Day

Ian's preschool had a special mother's day program. New baby Natalie stayed with Nana and we had some special time together - singing, snacking and being with friends.

Reading Time

How funny is this!? Papa was reading the paper and Ian asked for something to read too. We gave him the funny pages and he really studied them for a long time. The two guys were perfectly happy hanging out and quietly reading together.

Swimming with Papa

Ian took up Papa on an offer to swim at his hotel pool. With the water wings and the ring, he could really float on his own and practice paddling to Papa. He felt very big, but liked staying closeby at the same time. Hopefully, swimming lessons are next this summer with Dad.

Big Brother Ian

Natalie Caroline Thomas was born on April 29th at 8:48 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs 6 oz. Ian is holding his little sister here for the very first time. He was and continues to be very proud of his new job as big brother!

Ian Loves Aunt Caba

Ian had to pick his Aunt Caba up at the airport. He was SO excited to see her! She flew in especially to take good care of him while Mom and Dad were at the hospital with his new baby sister Natalie.

Taking on the T-Rex

That fierce couple next to T-Rex is Ian and his Dad. There was a cool dino exhibit at the St Louis zoo. We were there on opening weekend!

Messy Boys

Somehow the girls at the table managed to keep the PB&J off of their face and patio furniture - boys will be boys!
